Optimization of Harvesting Operation – APC
The scope of the work involves the optimization of the carnallite ponds harvesting operations with all construction associated works and equipment installation at the Solar Ponds. The work includes:
- Adding harvester new connection points on Dikes 6, 7, 8, and 9
- Adding/extending fixed Carnallite slurry lines on Dikes 8 and 3 with length of 10 KM.
- Adding/extending fixed water lines on Dike 8
- Adding fixed harvesters MV power lines on Dikes 8
- Adding two Carnallite booster pumps to H22 Booster Station on Dike 8, and supply and installation all the required instruments and signal/control cables.
- Supply and installation of seal water pump set and water storage tanks for H22 Booster Station and all the required instruments and signal/control cables
- Adding one Carnallite booster pump to S-1 Booster Station 500M3/ hour on Dike 3 and supply and installation all the required instruments and signal/control cables, in addition to installation of 1 unit 690V VFD at the existing LV Electrocenter.
- Supply and installation of seal water pump set and water storage tanks for S1Booster Station and all the required instruments and signal/control cables
- Installation of Carnallite slurry line between S-1 station and intersection of Dike 3 and Dike 9, where the added line will connect the new booster pump to be added to station S-1 with an existing Carnallite line running from the intersection of dike 3 and dike to the APC plants. Supply and installation of all valves, fittings, and all
- related piping accessories for all sizes Installation of two redundant circuits of 33kV -Airguard cables from APC 33kV Switchgear at APC CCP Plant to S1 33kV GIS station and to replace the two existing 33kV overhead lines feeders .
- Rehabilitation and optimization of 33 KV network on Dike 8 including:
- Installation of 4 new MV electrocenters (33kV GIS) and 1 LV Electrocenters including all power and control cabling works Installation of 33kV/690 V power transformer and 690V/400V Transformers, including all power and control cabling works, related to new station H22 electrocenters .
- Installation of wireless PLC SCADA system in LV electro-center for new station H22
- Installation of 2 units 690V VFD for new station H22 including all power and control cabling works
- Installation of new underground 11KM – 33kV Airguard (AG) power cables connecting between all MV Electrocenters and Transformers at Stations H1, H22, H2, H3 and H4, the cable will start from new terminal pole at beginning of Dike 8 a
- Installation of all Instrumentation and Control equipment.
- All civil and structural works associated with the piping works, hook up points, electrocenters, transformers and cabling works, including earthwork related to enlargement of dikes and construction of new embankments in ponds.
